Entre-Temps  Farida Amadou Oct 2021 -

Inspired by the sounds and passing images she has captured through the windows of moving trains, Farida is working on a twofold audio-visual installation, soon to be part of Europalia Arts Festival.

Using two plate-reverbs and long strings, Amadou creates a metal sound sculpture that invites the audience to touch, play and improvise. The vibrations of the plates interact with recordings Farida made of her collaborations with musicians of all walks of life.

This project is a shared residency between Overtoon, iMAL and Q-O2. The final installation will be presented at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in the framework of the exhibtion TRAINS & TRACKS.
