Cenote

In 2023, Cenote emerged from the meeting between Laurie-Anne Jaubert and Humn. Their shared interest in sensoriality and the processes of human and non-human perception gave rise to a first performance entitled, “Seuil,” a meditative experience combining interactive 3D animation and sound. It invites the audience to embark on a perceptive journey to the limits of visibility and audibility.

Humn is a self-taught musician based in Brussels. He studied fine arts before exploring the nightlife scenes in Brussels and Berlin. After studying video at the Agnès Varda School of Photography and Videography, he began composing soundtracks for his projects. Spirituality and meditation practices inspire his music universe. He released his debut album, "The Second Attention," in 2019, followed by "The Third Lodge On Homosensibilis records" 2021. In 2023, he took on a DJ residency at Lyl Radio and play on various radio like Kiosk radio, Rinse France & Radio Flouka. The same year, he released the EP "Piano Songs Two: Portraits." Humn released his latest album, "Alchemy," in February 2024.

Laurie-Anne Jaubert is a hybrid artist based in Brussels. She graduated from ESA Aix-en-Provence after earning a bachelor’s in Anthropology and Political Science. In September 2021, a 6-month residency at the Werktank Factory in Leuven (BE) led to the creation of La Lumitérale. In perpetual evolution, this project recently led her to a performance following her residency at the Ubik space at WORM in Rotterdam. She has participated in group exhibitions including "(UN)Common Ground" at iMAL (2022), as well as at the KIKK Festival (2022). In 2024 she launched NOXMERIS, a digital studio which created the scenography for the Parisian fashion show “Fantasmagorie.”
