Melissa Ryke

Melissa Ryke's practice is rooted in a site-responsive praxis of embodied listening. From this, her work moves between sound, video, sculpture and performative processes to create interactive installations. In these works the audience is invited to listen in, listen with, listen fragilely, listen fickly, listen through touch, listen through all senses. To perhaps not fully grasp, but to pick up, to hold and move with the sounds and the body.
